SHORT STORY OF ISLAM: WHEN YOU DELAY PRAYER
WHEN YOU DELAY PRAYER WHAT WIL HAPPEN?
Everyone must have a desire, but not everyone always prays, everyone has their own way of life, not everything goes well. There are times when a human goes through a dark period and feels at the lowest point of life so that he feels his life is empty and even feels that his life is meaningless. With all trials only Allah is always there for His servants.
But sometimes prayers are not always answered right away, there are several things that can hinder the fulfillment of prayers.
Here's the story
emigrate. Easy to say but hard to do. There is always a temptation for us to procrastinate. Yes. That's what I often do. Postpone.
Postponing prayer, postponing alms, delaying the Koran, and delaying other things. I often do this until a warning comes to me. Everything I asked for did not come true, even though I did everything I could to get it. Starting from praying to tahajjud I have done.
A year has passed, my prayers have not been realized. Two years on, I'm still hopeful. Until the third year, I began to have this prejudice. From good to bad. Does God really not want to grant it because it's not good for me? Or did God not hear my prayer?
I was stuck and running out of ways to persuade God to answer my prayer. Until one morning, I found a hadith that slapped me.
"Whoever is able to perform the five daily prayers on time, then he will get light, guidance, and safety on the Day of Resurrection. However, whoever is not able to keep the prayers on time, he will not get light, guidance and safety and on the Day of Resurrection will be gathered together with Pharaoh, Qarun, Haman, and Ubay bin Khalaf." (Narrated by Ibn Nasir)
Yes. I guess that's God's way of reminding me. How can my prayers be answered quickly if I just delay His orders. I started to wake up and fix myself. I started praying at the beginning of time and kept myself regular for the Koran. Change after change began to come to my life. Not only my prayers were answered. God is constantly giving other bonuses into my life.
Time that usually feels tight to the point where it is difficult to complete work, now feels more spacious. The sustenance is getting smoother. It is not the amount of sustenance that is increasing, but the blessings in it are more pronounced. My body that is easily tired now also feels healthier and fresher because of the early prayers
Of course, it is not only blessings in the world that will be achieved by those who hasten to pray. Narrated Abu Dawud from Abu Qatadah bin Rib'iy reported to him that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Allah Ta'ala said: 'Indeed I oblige your people to pray five times a day, and I promise that whoever keeps the times, I will surely include them. into Paradise, and whoever does not guard it will not get what I promised'."
I also began to realize that I was very lucky to still get a warning from God to wake me up. I try to continue istiqomah in carrying out all His commands without delay. Now I realize, praying at the beginning of time is the key to success in life. And also the key to reach His heaven.

Another story about the prayer of the Prophet Moses. At that time the Israelites complained to Moses because the water supply was running low due to a prolonged drought. So many livestock, trees and plants died.
At that time only humans were still able to survive. So they asked Moses to pray to Allah SWT for rain to fall. Prophet Musa then gathered 70 thousand people and invited prayer together.
Then Moses communicated with God through prayer. Allah immediately gave the answer to Prophet Musa that He postponed the prayer. This was due to the presence of one person from the 70 thousand people of Prophet Musa who had a very big sin, which was to have committed immorality for 40 years without stopping.
Then the Prophet Moses told the 70 thousand people that if Allah did not answer their prayers, because of the sin of one person. So the Prophet Moses asked the sinner to get out of line so that Allah would immediately send rain.
Without anyone looking, the sinner came out. He then regretted and repented so that he promised not to repeat the big sin again. Soon it rained heavily and wet the dry ground. Prophet Musa and his people were surprised by the heavy rain. Because they didn't see anyone out of line.
Moses then asked Allah. Allah explained that there was one person who unnoticed stepped out of line and repented of his sin. Allah also covered his sin so that no one saw him when he came out of the line.
This means that Allah delays the prayer of the sinner until he repents of his sins.
